After facing a pandemic-related layoff in 2020, I gathered two decades of experience and started a Public Relations agency, KLW Communications, LLC. I work with a wide range of clients, including nonprofits, biotech/pharmaceutical and healthcare companies, a meetings/events firm, a national restaurant/sports bar and a travel/tourism destination.

In November 2022, my client, Homeless Children's Education Fund (HCEF) appeared on The Kelly Clarkson Show for the “Good Neighbor” segment. Its CEO spoke of the organization’s mission of providing educational opportunities to youth experiencing homelessness in our region.

Throughout my 20-year career at VisitPITTSBURGH, I successfully built relationships with journalists from around the world, which continue to serve me today, enabling impactful communications strategies for my clients.

A highlight of my career includes collaborating with CZYK Publishing on two Pittsburgh travel guides, Eat Like A Local and Greater Than A Tourist. These guides serve as valuable resources for visitors and locals, offering insider tips and insights into Pittsburgh’s best eateries, vibrant culture and hidden gems.

I graduated from Geneva College in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, with a bachelor’s degree in communications and public relations.
